Two Labs Coffee was founded with two goals in mind: to provide high quality specialty coffee to the everyday coffee drinker, and to give back to the community through fundraiser and charity coffees.  TLC founder, Catherine "Cat" Gardner, is a former Paramedic who decided to add small business ownership to her plate while volunteering with a local Fire/EMS squad.  Being forced to drink too much very bad gas station coffee after a long 2am emergency call was enough to make her search out something better.  Cat currently teaches a high-school based EMT program in Charlottesville, VA by day, and slings coffee beans in the evenings and on weekends.

Cynthia L. Moore is owner/co-founder and Registered Dietitian, Diabetes Care & Education Specialist, Yoga Teacher/Therapist. Cynthia and her husband Wayland have lived in Fluvanna since 2006. She worked at the University of Virginia Nutrition Counseling Center until 2019.
