About Us
Founded in 1967, Oakland School is a small co-ed boarding and day school (for rising 2nd grade through 8th-grade students) specializing in language-based learning and attention difficulties. Because of our size, we are able to tailor an academic program unique to the strengths and challenges of each child. Students graduate from Oakland with a newfound love of learning, a sense of self-worth, and respect for themselves and others.
